(Episode 302; 9 minutes 56) Websites are often slung together to meet a deadline, without enough thought about who it is targeting and what they actually want. The result can be disappointing returns and a business model that doesn’t meet its expectations.

Today on BTalk Australia Phil Dobbie asks Greg Muller from Bullseye whether this is because of the mentality that says “let’s stick it up and fix it up later”.

Greg likens a website to the design of a retail store. You need to put as much thought into how it looks and what goes where. In today’s program he provides a checklist of five things to consider long before you launch your site and outlines design principles that should apply to any site.

Tell us what you think in the Talkback section at the end of this post.
